Privacy Policy

Personal Information

Three Mile Lake Association does not collect any personal information (such as your name, address, e-mail address, phone number, or credit card number information) on its web site. You are free to browse our entire web site: at no point will we request that you identify yourself or provide personal information to us.

At several points on our site, you have the opportunity to contact us via e-mail or telephone. We do not request that you provide any specific personal information to us in any of these communications, and all communications are strictly voluntary.

Should you choose to contact us and in doing so, communicate personal information, any information you provide will be held in the strictest of confidence (including the company you represent, e-mail address, return telephone number and/or any other contact information you provide). Three Mile Lake Association stores and uses this information for business purposes only, generally to enable us to contact you as a potential or current client, partner or supplier. This information will not be disclosed to any party outside of Three Mile Lake Association, nor will it be used for any other purposes without your consent, unless required by law.

Members of this website may opt in to have their personal information displayed in our membership directory located in a private, password protected portal accessible only to members and administrators of this website. At any time that your membership should expire, your information will no longer be displayed. If at any time you wish to change your privacy settings, this can be accomplished via your account or by contacting one of our administrators. If at any point you would like to have your account information completely deleted, please send your request to info@3milelake.ca


Log Files

As with most standard websites, our servers create log files when visitors access our site. Information recorded includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and pages visited on our site. These logs are used to analyze trends, administer the site, track users’ movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information. This information is used internally to analyse how our web site is used and to diagnose system problems. It is not disclosed to any parties outside of Three Mile Lake Association, nor will it be used for any other purposes.

Log files are also created to enhance membership data by providing you with a detailed record of past payments and upcoming renewals, new subscriptions or expired accounts. 


Orders and Registrations

Three Mile Lake Association may request information from you on our sponsorship and membership forms. To become a member or sponsor, you must provide contact information (name, phone number and address) and financial information (credit card number, expiration date, security code). This information is used for billing and registration purposes only and to complete your order. If we have trouble processing an order, Three Mile Lake Association will use the contact information you have provided to contact you.  No financial information is saved on our server or website and we do not store, transmit or share any of the financial information provided for the purposes of purchases or course registration via our website.  We process all payments using a PCI compliant processor – PayPal.


Disclosure to Law Enforcement

Three Mile Lake Association may disclose any subscriber information to law enforcement agencies without further consent or notification to the subscriber upon lawful request from such agencies. We will cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies as required by law.

Any changes to this Website Privacy Policy and Terms of Use will be noted here and will supersede this version of our Policy.
