Join us (virtually) on Tuesday April 19th at 5pm for another MLA hosted webinar! Get answers from Township of Muskoka Lakes Planning and By-law Enforcement staff to common questions about your rights and responsibilities in making improvements to your property.
It’s your property, and you have the right to improve it, but there are some rules to follow that will ensure you are a good neighbour, and are improving in a way that is responsible to the environment, to your neighbours and to future generations of Muskokans who will want to enjoy Muskoka as much as you do.
It’s also important to understand your responsibilities with respect to permits and by-laws in order to avoid fines or other penalties, or encumber the title to your property for future sale or inheritance.
We are grateful that two representatives of Township of Muskoka Lakes — David Pink (Director of Development Services and Environmental Sustainability) and Rob Kennedy (Chief By-law/Property Standards Enforcement Officer) – will be on the panel to answer our questions. The presentation will be moderated by MLA President Deborah Martin-Downs.
